California State University, Long Beach

LAN-LAB is midway through a 3-year support contract for data cabling services. CSULB specificially requires technicians experienced in data (not telephone) installations. Resumes of each technician must be submitted for approval to CSULB network support. In addition to the ongoing contract, LAN-LAB has performed various fiber and copper projects throughout the Long Beach Campus.

Irvine Unified School District

LAN-LAB has completed various high school, middle school, and elementary school wiring upgrades in addition to projects at the corporate office. Typical school jobs involve all Category 5, plenum grade cable and must be completed during off-school hours. Documentation and test results are required by IUSD.

Walmart Stores, Inc.

LAN-LAB coordinated and executed installation of the PICS system at 247 locations in 8 different states. This was a multi-million dollar project that had to be completed in a 30 day time period. Our superior project management team and field technicians completed the project and were therefore awarded with another 165 locations. Now, LAN-LAB provides ongoing cabling support to Walmart locations nationwide.

Interplay Productions

Interplay, a rapidly growing producer of computer games, expanded into a three-building office park. Working through DBD Structures and a general contractor, LAN-LAB installed a network infrastructure on four floors of the three buildings. The project included over 300 cable drops consisting of two Category 5 and one Category 3 cables each. LAN-LAB also installed the fiber backbone consisting of two, 24-strand, multi-mode fiber optic cable running between the buildings. The backbone is used to support Interplay's telephone system as well as their data requirements.

Compression, Inc.

LAN-LAB provided data and voice wiring for their California corporate headquaters in Irvine. A combination of Category-5 plenum UTP and category-5 plenum STP for different areas. Provided labor and materials to build out main computer while maintaining system operations during process. This project required intensive project supervision due to ongoing manufacturing activities and conditions.

San Diego Gas & Electric

LAN-LAB has an open purchase order with SDG&E for services. One project involved approximately 175 token ring workstation locations in an Escondido facility. Each drop consisted of 2 Category-5 cables and 1 Category-3 cable. SDG&E specifies entirely AT&T equipment and has stringent documentation and installation quality requirements.

Bank of America

LAN-LAB has a long standing relationship with B of A. A list of large projects would include the Los Angeles Data Center, Ontario Cash Vault, Los Angeles Cash Vault, and Glendale Tech Center. Projects also include many branches in L.A., Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura and San Diego Counties. LAN-LAB has also worked through various General Contractors for B of A.

County of Riverside, District Attorney's Office

LAN-LAB installed over two-hundred data drops on 7 floors of the Riverside District Attorney's office building. The offices were active and LAN-LAB technicians worked during office hours to complete the work within the DA's budget. The project required constant interface with the customer and the schedule was reviewed daily. The floors were tied together with fiber optic backbone, also installed during regular business hours. LAN-LAB secured a 15 year factory warranty on all installed components for the DA's office. The warranty covers both copper and fiber and all related jacks, faceplaces, patch cables, patch panels, and all related components from the back of the workstation to the front of the hub.
