Interplay, a rapidly growing
producer of computer games, expanded into a three-building office
park. Working through DBD Structures and a general contractor,
LAN-LAB installed a network infrastructure on four floors of
the three buildings. The project included over 300 cable drops
consisting of two Category 5 and one Category 3 cables each.
LAN-LAB also installed the fiber backbone consisting of two,
24-strand, multi-mode fiber optic cable running between the buildings.
The backbone is used to support Interplay's telephone system
as well as their data requirements. |

LAN-LAB installed over
two-hundred data drops on 7 floors of the Riverside District
Attorney's office building. The offices were active and LAN-LAB
technicians worked during office hours to complete the work within
the DA's budget. The project required constant interface with
the customer and the schedule was reviewed daily. The floors
were tied together with fiber optic backbone, also installed
during regular business hours. LAN-LAB secured a 15 year factory
warranty on all installed components for the DA's office. The
warranty covers both copper and fiber and all related jacks,
faceplaces, patch cables, patch panels, and all related components
from the back of the workstation to the front of the hub. |
